How We Review Bookmakers

The four checks

Licence. We record whether a bookmaker holds a Nigerian licence (National Lottery Regulatory Commission or a state authority such as the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority) or only an offshore one, and we say which.

Naira payments. We note which local methods the bookmaker lists for Nigeria: bank transfer, USSD, OPay, Paystack or crypto.

Offer terms. A welcome offer is shown only with a figure we found on the bookmaker’s Nigerian page or on established Nigerian review sites, with the rollover and minimum odds where they are published.

Relevance. Lists on a page are filtered to that topic, for example Nigerian licence on the law page.

What we did not verify

For this edition we did not open accounts or time withdrawals, so payout speed is not scored. Where sources disagree on an amount, we show the figure most sources give without a promo code.

Order of the lists

Bookmaker tables only include brands we have a partner agreement with, and those agreements influence the order. Licence and offer facts are written the same way for every brand.
